Elbow Sequence


Bow, announce "Elbow Sequence", then assume the kata starting position.


Step right foot back into left forward stance, while making right elbow back-strike to mid-body (left hand cups/supports right fist thru strike).


Step right foot forward into right forward stance, while making right elbow up-strike to head. 


Step right foot back into left forward stance, while making left elbow up-strike to head. 


Step right foot forward into right forward stance, while making right elbow horizontal-strike to head.


Step right foot back into left forward stance, while making left elbow horizontal-strike to head. 


Step right foot forward, placing it alongside left foot.  Now step right foot to the right into horse stance and ...
  - Holding arms horizontally in front of chest (with right atop left), make a right elbow horizontal-strike to the body.
  - Holding arms horizontally in front of chest (with left atop right), make a left elbow horizontal-strike towards your right, aimed at mid-body.
  - Make a right elbow upward-strike to your right, aimed at head (while left hand cups/supports right fist thru strike).
  - Make a left elbow upward-strike to your left, aimed at head (while right hand cups/supports left fist thru strike).
  - Make a left elbow horizontal-strike to the front, aimed at head.
  - Make a right elbow horizontal-strike to the front, aimed at head.


Move left foot slightly back and turn 1/4 turn to left, into a left forward stance.  With left hand chambered, reach high with right and bring right elbow down with a downward-strike.


Move right foot slightly back and left, and turn 1/2 turn to right, into a right forward stance.  With right hand chambered, reach high with left and bring left elbow down with a downward-strike.


Move right foot to right, stepping into a horse stance.  Holding arms horizontally in front of chest (with right atop left), make a right elbow horizontal-strike to the body.


Move right foot counter-clockwise 1/2/ turn into a horse-stance.  Holding arms horizontally in front of chest (with left atop right), make a left elbow horizontal-strike towards your right, aimed at mid-body.


Reach down in front of you with right hand and make fist, then move right foot back and turn 1/4 turn to right into a horse stance, while right arm makes up and then down hard to head/shoulders of half-collapsed opponent.

Now reach down in front of you with left hand and make fist, then swing left arm up and then down hard to head/shoulders of half-collapsed opponent.

Finish into kata ending stance and bow.
