    "Water"

How much do we need it?
You can go only a few days without water.
Water is second only to oxygen of all components necessary for life.
Water is in all tissues; teeth, bone, fat, and muscle.
It is the vehicle for of all body fluids, such as blood, digestive juices,
lymph, urine, and perspiration.  Water is a lubricant for saliva, the mucous
membranes, and the fluid that bathes the joints.  It regulates body
temperature.  Water prevents dehydration, flushes out toxins and wastes,
supplies the body with oxygen and nutrients, and aids muscle cells in
    producing energy.

The average body contains 40 to 50 quarts of water, with 40 percent of that water inside your cells.  With a loss of 5 percent of your body water, your skin shrinks and muscles become weak.  The loss of less than a fifth of your
    body water is fatal.

Bottom line, drink plenty of water for life.  Drink a minimum of 64 ounces per day.
