A Regional Sports Organization (RSO) is a group of karate clubs within an area that organizes to support the USA-NKF National Organization in their region.  Each RSO is composed of at least 5 clubs and promotes karate-do in their region by:

• Organizing and leading educational seminars for refereeing, judging, and competing
• Providing leadership guidance in implementing National Karate-do Federation policies
• Organizing tournaments for karate competitors of all age groups


RSO members also receive recognition as members of the USA Olympic Committee's governing body and gain opportunities for their members to attend National and International events of competition.  Additionally, each club earns voting rights at USA Congress, where they can participate in furthering karate-do at the national level.
